In class we learned that the official date for the fall of the Roman Empire in the west is 476 AD.  However, it took hundreds of years for Rome to decline, and we discussed may reasons why this happened.  Based on what we studied, what do you think was the biggest problem, or contributing factor, for the fall of Rome?  Why?

First of all, i don't think that Rome really fell at all. The culture and city was very much alive. To to say that it " fell " would technally not be true in my perception of thinking. But i think that the real reason that Rome "fell" would be because of its devaluation of money. "/
